GERMAN SHIPPING

TRANS-ATLANTIC SERVICE RESUMED. NEW YORK, August 16. An agreement has been reached, with the full consent of the Shipping Board, between the old Hamburg-Amerika Steamship Company and the American Ship and Commerce Corporation, providing for the resumption of a transatlantic passenger and freight service between American ports and Germany, also a service between Germany and other world ports. The Germans will act for Americans m Germany and Americans for Germans in America.
