DR. MANNIX.
AMERICAN SYMPATHISERS. Eeceived August 17, 9.45 a.m. NEW YORK, August 16. Resolutions denouncing! the British Government and Mr Lloyd George for refusing to allow Dr Mannix to enter Ireland were carried at a mass meeting of fifteen thousand in Madison Square on Sunday night. A meeting of five thousand at Montreal also denounced the British authorities’ attitude in vigorous terms.
