STATUES OLD AND NEW
LONDON CORPORATION’S PROPOSALS. Received August- 10, 10 a.m. Times. - LONDON, August 8. The Oity Corporation has decided on the abolition of the famous Kingly statues of George the Third in Pall Mall, and of William the Fourth. It proposes to erect new statues of Edward the Seventy in Trafalgar Square, Earl Kitchener and Earl Roberts at the War Office, and Lord Fisher at tie Admiralty.
