AGITATION FOR INCREASED WAGES. SYDNEY, May 3. The Miners Federation has decided in view of the increased price of commodi ties and other grievances, to call on the Federal Government to arrange a con fereno© with the owners. Failing this, stop-work meetings will be held. It was also decided to hold a conference with the Watersiders, Seamen’s, and Railway Unions for the purpose of arriving at a better understanding for the improvement of conditions, including wages and hours.
