VARSITY BOAT RACE.

Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, February 8. The University boat crews' training baa been hampered by rough weather, but both are' fairly forward. After numerous trials, the composition of the crews has been practical)y settled. The only Australians retained are Cairns (Oxford) and Campbell (Cambridge). Sieve Pa-irbairn is now assisting to coach Cambridge, who are lighter than the Oxfords, who have five 13st. men.
