At an. inquest held this afternoon j. concerning the death of Agnes Benton a Pope, 17 years of ago, who had been. suffering from ill-health for some time t , and had nob been attended by a medical man, a verdict was returned, as a re,j suit of a post-mortem examination, that death was due to acute purulent bronj. ychitis and hemorrhagic bronchial pnone monia. c- ' ’ , e SUDDEN DEATH. AUCKLAND, February 0. 0 An elderly married woman named a Margaret McKundrey died suddenly at | e this morning. She drank e a bottle of hop beer and immediately j._ became ill, and died before medical assistance could bo procured.
