SARJEANT GALLERY.

EXCELLENT ATTENDANCES MAINTAINED. Excellent attendances are still being maintained at the Saejoant Gallery, the average being upwards of 750 per week. Visitors to the town in large numbers lake the opportunity of inspecting the beautiful building and its exhibits of art. To give an indication of the numbers which visit the Gallery, it need only be mentioned that on a very wet Thursday of this month &1 persons inspected tho building, the previous Tuesday 160 persons, and for two hours on Saturday morning 56 persons paid visits.

A visitors’ book is now to bo kept at tho Gallery in order to ascertain the number of persons residing locally who visit it, also tho number of visitors to tho town.
