COST OF LIVING.
Wj PER CENT. OVER PRE-WAR. LONDON, November 14. It is expected that the cost of living by the end of the year will exceed tlio pre-war costs by 15U per cent. This calculation makes no allowance for clothing, furniture and many household requisites. The present prices exceed the figures ruling during the most anxious period of the war, and the causes include adverse exchange* increased wages and consumption, and inflation of the' - currency.
