PRINCE OF WALES.

The Prince of Wales visited th© White House and conversed with the President and Mrs Wilson. He brought to the President many personal messages from the Royal family. The President sat propped’up in bed. The Prince had tea with Mrs Wilson and the President’s two daughters. Tne Prince earlier in the afternoon placed a, wreath on Washington’s tomb at Mount Vernon, Virginia. He also decorated more than a hundred soldiers, officers, and nurses. The British Embassy held a reception in the evening. The Prince later attended a dance given by Mr Gillette, Speaker of the House of Representatives. Queen Alexandra sent a message to President Wilson expressing the hope that he was feeling stronger after his wonderful work .for the benefit of the whole world. President Wilson replied thanking the Queen. He said his health was steadily improving. He added that the welcome extended to the Prince of Wales was from the hearts of Americans. TEffi'FRENCH’S HEADQUARTERS. NEW YORK, November 13. The British warship Renown has arrived from Trinidad. She reports that a comber. The warship will bo the Prince route. The warship will be the Prince of Wales’ residence while here.
