SERIOUS RIOTING AT CORK. 60LMBRS T. THE MOB. Australian and N.Z Cable Association, Received November 13, 1 p.m. LONDON, November 11. Renewed rioting has occurred at Cork. Tyro hundred Shropshires proceeded in a*body from the barracks, bnrst through the cordon of police and attacked the roughs with their belts. The laitter replied with stones. All available police were summoned, but were unable to restore order, despite numerous charges. A large force of troops was brought into the streelte establishing cordons, but the fighting moved to other quarters, and was always fierce. Eventually, armed pickets separated the Shropshires and escorted them to their barracks. There were some ugly incidents, a number of revolver shots being fired, a provost marshal being wounded. In same cases the mob phased (the soldiers into the theatres and hotels. The Shropshires invaded a railway stotion, smashing all, the glass. The damage to property was extensive. The Daily Chronicle’s correspondent states that'the officer commanding the troops prepared to fire a volley, but the police inspector begged him to let them make a* lasffi charge to -clear the streets. ARRESTED SINN REUTERS. Received November 13, 1 p.m. LONDON, November 12. The members of the Sinn Fein Parliament arrested at Dublin include John O'Mahony, John' Hayes and Frank Lawless, members of the House of Comjnons.
