FIRST ROUND OF DAVIS CUP. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association LONDON, June 2. The first round of the Davis Gup contest between Britain and South Africa has been provisionally arranged for July 25, 26, and 28. It will be played at Eastbourne. SURBITON TOURNAMENT. LONDON, June 3. At the Surbiton tennis tournament, in the second round of the doubles, Roper Barrett and Ritchie beat Fisher and Prebble, 11—9, 7—5, despite the losers’ lead of s—o in the second set.
