NEW ZEALAND WOOL

FREIGHT ARRANGEMENTS. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association LONDON, June 3. Official.—Lord Inverforth, of the Ministry of Munitions, has sent Mr Massey an interesting statement in regard to freight arrangements for New Zealand wool. He states; “Since February we have an agreement w r ite liners to carry all the wool required for the United Kingdom and France up to December 31st of this year at the very favourable rate of 1 *5-Bd. In four or five months hence the time will have come to make arrangements for the 1920 freight requirements. In justice to New Zealand sheep farmers, who have a heavy interest in the profits or re-sale of wool, the Minister of Munitions will, of course, feel obliged to secure the lowest possible freight for wool which, can be obtained from ships under the British flag.”
