REFORM PARTY LOYAL TO PACT. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 3. ‘Sir James Allen has been authorised by Mr Massey (Prime Minister, and leader of the Reform Party) to issue the following statement:— “The Reform Party will continue strictly loyal to the compact entered into at the time the National Government was formed, until the separation of the two parties to the compact takes place on the return of the leaders (Mr Massey and Sir Joseph Ward.) to New Zealand. Should it then he decided to end the compact, a progressive programme consistent with the requirements of the Country and its position as an important part of the Empire will be issued.
