Strikes are spreading throughout Germany. SITUATION REPOSTED CRITICAL. RIOTS IN INDUSTRLAL TOWNS. SPARTACI3T OUTBREAK ■ EXPECTED. Received April 3, 8.55 a.m. i COPENHAGEN, April 2. The situation at Berlin is critical. Another general strike and a Spartacist outbreak is expected. There were riots at several industrial towns owing to the arrest of Spartacists who were inciting a general strike. Agitation is very acute in Bavaria. ANOTHER REVOLUTIONARY CRISIS EXPECTED. SPREAD OP BOLSHEVISM. Received April 3, 8.55 a.m. LONDON. April 2. The Daily Mail states that another • revolutionary crisis is approaching in Germany. Bolshevism is spreading in Southern Germany. BOLSHEVIKS DENOUNCED. AS BETRAYERS OF DEMOCRACY. Received April 3, 8.55 a.m. COPENHAGEN, April 2. Reports from Russia state that i there are industrial strikes and J meetings against the Bolshevist regime. Workers are denouncing the Bolshevist dictatorship and betrayal of democratic ideals. BRISBANE SOLDIERS’ REQUESTS. Tfeceivod April 3, 10.35 a.m. BRISBANE, April 3. The returned soldiers carried a resolution urging the Federal Government to continue the censorship, in order to prevent the spread of Bolshevism. y =======
