ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
SEVERE! INJURED. (Per United Frees Association.) TAIHAPE, February 28. A man named George Williams, bush manager at Cook’s Mill, at Mai area sustained a broken spine last night by a bough of a maire tree failing on him. He was brought into Taihape hospital this morning but it is expected he will not recover beyond the invalid stage. He has a wife and two children.
