New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report for the week ending September 29th-..Sales have been held at Himitangi, Apiti, Rongotea, Palmerston, and Feilding. On Monday at Himitangi we had a full yarding of cattle and a fair yarding of sheep. Competition was good throughout, and we sold thej bulk of the yarding at values slight-* ly in advance of late rates. Fai T / mixed hoggets 20/8, 23/-; small yearling steers £2/13/-, £3; discoloured yearling steers, £4/10/-; goojd yearling heifers, £5; aged store cow£, £5, £5/10/-; fair store cows, £7/5/1-, £B/2/6, £B/5/-, £B/10/-; forwarSd cows, £9/17/6; fat cows, £ll, £l,l 15/-, £l2ll/-, £l3/10/-; cows aiid calves, £B/2/6; springing heifers 35 5/-, £B/15/-, £B/17/6; yearlir\g bulls, £4/15/-, £7/10/-. . I At Apiti on Tuesday a small es- - met with little enquiry. Mixeti yearlings £6, heifers in calf £6/10//, good springing heifers £lO/10/h, weaner pigs 10/-. ( At Rongotea on Wednesday we had a good yarding. Competition was keen for all classes, forward cows selling particlarly well. At Feilding on Friday, a small entry of sheep and a goodly yarding of cattle < met with a brisk sale, all lines selling freely'Hmder the hammer.
