HIS MAJESTY'S. "Wild Winship's Widow" is" the main featre to be shown at the above theatre to-night. It is a- new Ince-» Triangle play, extremely powerful and interesting, excellently staged, and finely photographed. Dorothy Dalton appears in her best role to date, and presents an. absorbing study as the woman who is transformed by a sudden revelation' from a patient Niobe to an enchanting coquette- The supports are good. EVERYBODY'S. "THE SILENT VOICE." To-night, at Everybody's Theatre, another splendid programme has been arranged. In the Metro film, "The Silent Voice," the popular stare, Francis X. Bushman and Marguerite Snow, take the leading parts. The film is a worthy example of Metro production, and is produced without regard to expense. The play goes 'deep down into life in all its bitterness, until finally a ray of sunshine steals into the story and "brings a delightful conclusion. * ! " The Ladies Guild associated, with the Eastown Presbyterian Church held their annual sale of work in the Town Hall on Saturday. Despite the many counter attractions in ■town, the sale proved a great success, and past records were beaten. The proceedings opened with the osual devotional exercises, after which the Rev. G. W. Blair (pastor) briefly outlined the success that had been evidenced by the ladies of the Guild. He called on Mrs Blair to declare the sale open. There was a very large attendance. ' Friends from St. Paul's, St. Andrew's, and Gonville Churches were present in large numbers. Mrs McLeod (guild president) and Mrs G. W. Blair were everywhere, and worked hard to attain success. ..> During the evening session instrumental and vocal items were contributed by the Eastown orchestra, Mr Frank Marshall, and Mis.3 Dulcie Brown.
