IMPORTATIONS OF MOTOR VEHICLES. FULL 1916 AVAILABLE. There was an interesting statistical return placed before the Patea County Council at its meeting yesterday. It was supplied by his Majesty’s Trade Commissioner in New Zealand (Mr R. Dalton), and it contained information concerning the registration of motorcars and motor-cycles by the different municipalities and County Councils for the year 1916 in the Dominion. The return showed the number of oars and cycles, the districts in which they have been registered, and their country of origin. The information was as follows ; Country of Origin. Cars. Cycles.
