AUCKLAND FATALITIES. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 16. Hazel Ton son. seven years of age, was knocked down and killed by a taxiear driven by Edward Victor Nelson, who states that the child ran from behind a tram car. He applied the brakes hut his car skidded and struck the child. „ , , Harrv MeCable. a fireman employed by'the Auckland Farmers' Freezing Co. was found dead in the stokehold under circumstances that suggest he was electrocuted. SUDDEN" DEATH. AUCKLAND, April 16. Mr Malcolm G. McGregor, barrister and solicitor, died suddenly thus morning. He had a wide experience of shipping law, and appeared in nearly every contested action of that nature. BODY FOUND. 'P.UHAPi:, April 16. The headless body of a man named J. V. McDonald, about 32 yeaiv, wa.s found on Sunday at the foot of a high cliff on the river bed at Winiata, »in an advanced titage of decomposition. It is supposed to be a ca«e of suicide. An inquest is being held.
