MR. HENDERSON’S GOOD ADVICE (Reuter.) Received January 24, 11.25 a.m. LONDON, January 23. Presiding at the annual conference of the Labour Party at Manchester, Mr Wardle, M.P-, declared that there could only be one greater tragedy than the war, namely, if Britain had not joined in. f The Hon. Arthur Henderson, replying to criticism that Labour had not got much for joining the Government, said that in a national crisis they should concern themselves more with what they gave than what they got.
