When the Germans seized the Prfnz Henrick, they found a Belgian aboard with a million francs' worth of valuables, also diamonds among the mails valued at A20.0G0. During 1915 the French Government requisitioned six million hectolitres of wine, equal to 792 million large bottles, for the army. AMSTERDAM, January 23. The Germans have again threatened to, seiie the deposits in the Belgian banks unless the levies reach the amount required.
