The death took plaee at Queenstown on Tuesday evening of Mr Cyril E. dudgeon, well known in Wanganui. The deceased, who was (i 7 years of age, arrived at. Tne death is reported of a very old resident of Marton, Mrs. Mclndoe, sonr. The deceased lady was well known in the Rangitikei district, and was the relict of the late Mr Andrew Mclndoe, who predeceased her by 23 years. A confirmation service, was 'nold at Christ Church yesterday morning, the Right Rev. the Bishop of Wellington (Dr. Spratt) administering the rite of confirmation to 08 candidates. His Lordship was assisted by the Ven. Archdeacon Reeve and the Rev. Neligan.
