ANNUAL M^ETINd. The annual meeting of the Castlecillf Surf Bathers and Life Saving t inf> waa.held last night, .Mr. It. Firth presiding. The annual report (which Was adopted )• stated -The balance-sheet disclosed a> debit of i'2o. The total oxpeiidilure, including overdraft, was m I Us. Bd. Of this amount £37 4s. wan spent on the erection of a club room. During the year about (jO new members were elected, but at present fto members are either at lit? front, or in camp, besides nearly 20 waiting to be called up. Deep regret, was expressed at tbe deaths at Gallipoli of Messrs. L. and C. G. Armstrong and W. Heaver, and sympathy was also extended to the vciatives of C. Newcombe, P. Sutherland and J.
