PATRIOTIC TOtJRNEY. Fine . weather favoured the local bowlers on Saturday* when interest centred in a tournament held to raise funds for providing a bowlers’ home for convalescent soldiers at Rotorua. Bt. John’s entered eleven teams, Gonville eight, and Wanganui seven. The game son Saturday were played on the St. John’s and Qonville greens, und ’ to-day the Wanganui Club’s green will accommodate all the bowlers.
