In the Whitehall tragedy, detective: discovered a Perth Savings Dank-brok in the name of Albert Edward Greenwood, corresponding with the initials on the man’s clothing. PERTH, October 24. Gieomvoo.l was an Englishman, and was recently employed in the State Audit'. Office. He left saying he had a better position in the goldlields. He was a talented eccentric, but was addicted to drag?. The woman, it is believed, was also employed in the same office. The boilies of a young unidentified men and woman were discovered in a bodrtom in Whitehall Chambers, where they had be n n resident for some weeks. They had net been seen for some days, and ah odour led to the forcing of the door, A peculiar feature was that, the 'woman was badly decomposed, and she had apparently been dead a week, the man only a couple of days. A glass at the bedside contained dregs, supposed to be of poison. They registered as Mr and Mrs Harvey, hut ,the man’s clothes hoar Perth tags, and were marked with the initials ’•A.E.O.”
