THE KIND'S APPRECIATION. LONDON, October 21. The King, in a letter, expresses foction at the splendid work achieved by the Red Cross Bt. John organisation, which wounded men hare personalty testified. HLs Majesty’s cheque for AV//J accompanied the letter. Queen Mary and Queen Alexandria issued a message commending the Red Crrts* collection to the people of the Kmpiri'. They express gratitude for generous assistance in the past. “OUR DAY" IN LONDON. The Red Cross and the Order of Sf . John are combining on Tbursdsv. Ten thousand ladies are collecting. The campaign Is entitled “Our Dav Fund.” New Zealand ladies are collecting in Victoria Street and Australians in the Strand.
