NEW MEAT WORKS.
(Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON*. September 3. Thomas Borthwick and Soils (Australasia), Limited, have let a contract for extensive new meat works at Belfast, six mile* from Christchurch. The plant will comprise two refrigerating machine*, each ” having a capacity equal to seventy tons of refrigeration for twenty-four hours.
