WHANGAREI HOSPITAL NEEDS.
(Per United Press Association.) WHANGAREI, August 30. A deputation interviewed the Hon. Russell. Minister of Hospitals, in reference to t'ne proposal to utilise the hot springs [ rpertv at Karrui for hospital purposes. The Minister said he could not commit the Government to the expenditure of several thousands without giving the matter consideration. He would have to be satisfied that further hospital accommodation was required in the Whangarei district.. He advised leaving the matter over until the end of the present session. Meantime ho could give no promise.
