Eugene Zakovsky, a Russian artist, who is appearing at a music hall, has applied for police protection. Ho alleges that he is being shadowed by Russian secret police, and fears assassination or kidnapping. He states that he was engaged in the revolutionary propaganda in Russia, but escaped to America. where secret police shadowed him, and two attempts Were made on his life. He fled to Australia, but recently recognised a Russian spy as the. brother of a detective whom the revolutionaries had shot dead, dogging him.
