Donkin, a pastoralist, as the result of a visit to the East, is much impressed with trade possibilities with .Japan for Australian wool, meat, and butter. Ho considers that Japan will shortly he able to take every ounce of meat that can be sent her. She already buys wool valued at three-quarters of a million, and prefers Australian butter to any other. The demand for both of these products is bound to expand enor mously.
