. .AUCKLAND, May 7. • In-.,the core .of Emil Hansen against Michael Leonard, a cab driver, claiming £52) the balance of £75, which plaintiff entrusted to defendant on a “joy ride" extending some days, Mr Ketlo, S.M., gave judgment for the plaintiff for £lO. The Magistrate said that the affair was a disgraceful one from start to finish. Plaintiff, who was foolish in liquor, handed pver' a largo sum of money to the cabman, who betrayed his trust. The Magistrate added that ho had no sympathy with plaintiff, and regretted that he could not hand the money to a charitable institution. 1;
