On Tuesday, Ith inst,, at Air 1L Laird's sale of dairy cows, vve had a good .attendance of buyers, and everything sold in the vendor's favour. On Wednesday, sth inst., at our Wanganui sale wo had a full yarding, viz., 450 cattle. 3800 sheep, and Kill pigs. We had a good attendance of buyers. Hoggets sold freely, but ewes in lamb were in buyers’ favour. Although bidding at auction was slack, we disposed of the bulk of the entry after the auction. All the cattle, with the exception of a few odd pons, found purchasers at ruling prices. On Thursday, 6th inst., at Mr F. G. Alume's dairy "sale at Nukuinaru, we disposed of all the cows offered. Early ealvers sold well, but late calvers were in favour of buyers. Four purebred Jersey cows made from 11 gns to 23 gns, and the two-year Jersey bulls from 7 gns to 20 gns On Friday, 7th, at our AVaverley sale, we offered 3i)o head of cattle and 1509 sheep. The attendance was good, and practically everything sold before the da? closed. On Saturday, Bth inst., at our horse sale, we offered over 100 horses of all classes. Good draughts, broken and unbroken, also spring-cart and good hacks were well competed for.
