The Castlecliff Railway Company’s Sunday trams will run as usual to-morrow. Trains leave Wanganui at 2.25 p.m., 3.5 p.m., and 5.5 p.m., and leave Castlecliff at 1.45 p.m., 2.45 p.m., aud 4.45 p.m. Trams connect with trains.

THE SALE OF THE SEASON. Look out for Benefield and Sons’ annual sale of tine specimen fruit trees, rhododendrons, camellias, etc., at Williams and Harpers mart, on Wednesday. July 19th! IMPORTANT AUCTION SALE Of BALGOWNIE LANDS. Messrs C. L. Duigan and Co., auctioneers, advertise an important auction sale of the Freezing Company’s paddock at Balgownie, comprising some 24 acres of nice river terraces between the Hoads Railwa" and the river, and immediately adjoining Balgownie Homestead subdivision. The property will be sold in one lot. Onlv ID per cent, cash is required. The balance may remain for five years at 5 per cent., with right to pay off whole or part at any time. In view of harbour extension, this land will enormously increase in value in the near future. The sale is fixed for Saturday, the 22nd inst., at 2.30 p.m. There is good access to the property 0v two metalled roads (Imlay Street and Balgownie Avenue). The terms are specially adapted to enable the purchaser of the property to road it and cut it up into building sites. This section is the last available block of river frontage in the estate, and should command the attention of investors. Full particulars may be obtained from the auctioneers.

The purchasers wish to make it plain that all goods during this sale are being sold at practically half price, and in many instances at less than half, and would like drapery buyers to come and convince themselves that it is so, by comparing sale prices with the ordinary selling prices.
