LEVIN’S PROTEST..

(Per United Press Association.) LEVIN, July 7

A public meeting convened by the Mavnr discussed the action, of the Racing Commission in recommending the striking out of the llorow henna Racing Club. It was unanimously resolved to send a deputation to the Minister of the Anterior, consisting of the representatives of ilu> two local sporting bodies and the agricultural and pastoral association (all of’ which use the racecourse), and threo borough Councillors to protest againsitlin commissioners’ action. A further resolution was carried, “That this meeting expresses strong desire - that the country members of Parliament should unite in the common ii forests of country racing dubs to. oppose the unfair allocation .of permits recommended' by the racing commissioners,”
