SEAFARING MAN IN TROUBLE

(Par United Press Association). AUCKLAND, July 4. At the Police Court, a seafariug man named Win. West was charged with presenting a revolver at David Gallagher in Queen Street. Gallagher states that he saw accused presenting a revolver at another man, and interfered, when he was knocked down and kicked. For the defence, it was stated that West had been attacked by a number of men, and drew a revolver in self-defence. He mistook Gallagher for one of his assailants. He was warned and fined 40s and costs.
