SYDNEY SHEEP SALES. Press Association —Telegraph.—Copyright." SYDNEY, July 3. At the sheep sales there was better competition than last year. This was owing to the pressure of South Africans, who were after good merinos. The sales were mostly of Tasmanian sheep. The sales included Client (merino ram), 300 guineas; Tradesman (grand champion housed ram), 300 guineas: a two-year-old son of Baronet V (reserve champion to Tradesman), 410 guineas; Baronet V., 150 guineas. The sheep sales included:—Border Leieeslers: On behalf of Mr Nixon (Canterbury), 12 stud rams, which brought from 3 to (U guineas; on behalf of Mr Rennie (Canterbury), seven rams, from 3 to 4 gns; Mr Dowthcwaite (AA'aiinatc). two rams, at 25 and 20 gus; Air Anderson (Ashburton), one ram, 8 gus.
