GERMAN ARMY MANOEUVRES.
KAISER TO LEAD 250,000 MEN
Operations on Unparalleled Scale,
BERLIN, Juno 30. The Gorman army manoeuvres this year will bo on a scale of unprecedented splendour. It is expected that the Kaiser himself v. ill load the 250,000 mon who will be in the field.
The most spectacular event will be the attack on the capital by half the army, comprising the Second and Ninth Army Corps and a cavalry division, which, for the purpose of the mimic warfare, will be assumed to have effected a landing on, the Mcchlenburg roast. The defence of the city will be undertaken by a-corps of the Guard, a picked cavalry division, and the Army Corps Reservists,
Many notable foreign visitors, including the Prince of Wales, will be among the spectators.
