TRAGEDY OF THE BUSH.
(Per United Press Association.) WAIHI, April 3. Two residents who were searching in the bush a few miles out of Waihi for wild honey, -discovered tlie decomposed body of a man named J. E. Harling. Near his right hand was a revolver, one chamber containing a spent cartridge. Enquiries showed that deceased had been a traveller for a photo enlargement firm ; also, that he was an cx-Imperial, haying served in the Boer war. It is believed he. has a wife in Auckland. He was last seen alive two weeks ago. His ago was about 36.
