ATTEMPTED ASSASSINATION.
Press Association.—Telegraph.— Copyright CALCUTTA, April 1. A Brahmin named Module, at Bombay, was .sentenced to seven years’ transportation for attempting to kill Colouel Perris by means of a bomb at Kolahpuv. The Judge stated that Modak utilised Joshi, a Brahmin degenerate, for the purposes of political assassination. Joshi detailed a plot to kill Lord Curzon at the time of the Delhi Durban.
