It is now stated that the extra Congressional session, whereat it was first believed reciprocity alone would be considered, will deal with a multiplicity of other subjects. This is likely to jeopardise the passage of reciprocity. OTTAWA, Anril' 2. Tlie Federal House is not expected to prorogue till the end of May. It is hoped that reciprocity will he passed previous to prorogation, despite the Opposition’s campaign of olistrnction. Received April 3, 8.5 a.m.
NEW YORK, April 2. _ A Democratic caueas adopted a resolution fixing reciprocity ns a popular plank in the forthcoming Senatorial elections.
