The Mayor of Wanganui East invites the ratepayers to meet him at\the Town Hall on Friday evening next at. when the various, loans now .under consideration will be explained. iUnder thp_amended Act it is not necessary to call a.public meeting, But the Mayor considers it only right and proper, that a meeting should be. held, so that the ratepayers may have the opportunity of asking questions upon- any matters that may not haye been sufficiently explained.
