Prices Sheep; Fat and forward ewes 9s fid, 10s. 8d to 11s 9d; fat ewes and weth,ers 13s, f. and f.m. ewes -7s-4d to 8s Id, s.m, ewes (good) 8s fid to 9s fid, f.m; ewes 3s 8d to, 6s. 3d, 3", 4, and s:year ewes 7s, 6tooth ewes : 12s : 9d, 2, 4, and 6-tooth ewes 12s 7d, 2 and 4-tooth ewes (small) 10s Id, wether. lambs (small) 3s 9d, fat lambs 6s 10d,. mixed lambs 4s fid, 2-tooth wethers (medium 9s 7d,' cull 2-tooth wethers 7s Id, 2tqbth; Romney rams to 3 guineas, 2-tooth Lincoln rams to £2 16s. Cattle: Mixed weaners 21s 6d. At Feilding on Friday we had a fair entry of sheep and a small entry of cattle. The quality of the sheep was poor, consisting mostly of aged ewes. A nice line of ewe lambs sold in conjunction with Gorton and f? n -? n account of Mr John Henson, made 14s fid. We quote: Cull ewes 2s 4d, 3s, 3s Id, f? L, > .lambs, 5s 3d to 5s 8d; ewe lambs, IfId; good ewe; lamb's," 14s fid; fat wethers 14s;Id; old rams, 2s 4d; Southdown rams, 3 guineas; good ■; 18-month: heifers, £2 6s; small heifers in ca1f,,£2.135; store cows, £2 17s. LONDON MARKETS. The New, oalaud Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., are this morning in receipt of the following cable advice from their London office— : Tallow.—-We quote present spot values for the, following descriptions:—Good mutton, £1 14s 9d per' cwt.; /good beef, -£1 13s Pd per cwt.; mixed, .£1 12s 6d. per cwt. Market quiet. Wheat sold, at 34s 1-Ul c.i.f., Australian cargo; very little demand owing to increased: supplies. Outlook discouraging.
