The Tarcoola is expected to-morrow, after an extended search iii the locality of - the supposed wreck.This,place is con-' sidered the most dangerous on the Queens- , land coast, andds said to be insufficiently lighted. . ; The Mayor has called a public meeting for Tuesday to inaugurate a scheme of practical ,• sympathy for the bereaved. The Governor has forwarded a message of sympathy to, the Mayor, enclosing a cheque, fqr i>lo towards the fund. WHERE DID SHE STRIKE? Received April 1, 10.10 a.m. BRISBANE, April 1. The steamer Queensland has reported that she has discovered a large, recently-' made break in Nare’s Rock, and this is suggested as the place where the Yongala struck, though there is no sign of wreckage.
