WANGANUI TROTTING CLUB

Some capital sport should be provided those who patronise flic Wanganui Trotting Club’s meeting, to be held on Thursday and Friday. The bill of fare drawn up is a most attractive one, and as all the arrangements are well in hand the two days’ trotting should be very interesting. The acceptances received are very good, and all the events will be weTl contested, amongst the horses engaged are performers of note from Christchurch and Nelson, as well as from all parts of the North Island. Messrs Neylon and Spriggens will manage the totalisator, and the lim have decided to put on a 10 shilling machine Dustin’s, Ltd., will have charge of the catering, and Mr Tom Nixon, the Metropolitan Hotel, will preside at the publican’s booths. Members are reminded that a meeting of the. committee , will take place at 8 o’clock to-night, when a full attendance is requested, as all final arrangements in connection with the races will be made.
