OBITUARY.
(Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 20. Thos. Ballantyne, a. well-known North Canterbury contractor, died on Saturday. In the early days he settled on the West Coast, and was the late Mr Seddon’s first employer in New. Zealand.
