In the Heron case counsel announced that the evidence would show that Morison deposited a pistol and cartridges in the railway cloakroom after the' murder, and that a ticket for them was found in the lining of his hat. There was also evidence'that he drove with the victim to Clapham Common at a quarter to 3 in the morning, and drove lienee alone at a quarter past.
