The newly-formed Eastern Club, having been unable to arrange for matches with any other teams, next Saturday, intend playing practice games on the. Wanganui Ece. It is sincerely hoped there' Will he. a full attendance of players who have already joined or intend becoming members of the club,, as the selection of . teams for’ the Cupcontests will bo made on the- form shown on Saturday. Members and friends. of the above club are reminded of the social, and dance to bo held in the Wanganui East Town Hall to-morrow evening.
