Lord Charles Beresford, speaking 'at Dartford, said that, the battleship Invincible had been commissioned in March, buthad lie’yer'been able to fire her 12-inch guns. If, war .were threatened the Invincible would be ordered to dock and her crew would be transferred to another ship.
.-The.lnvincible is the last of the erniserbattlqships (Or Dreadnought cruisers) voted in 19ue. Her estimated speed was to be 25 knots, and this was exceeded in her trials, and her tonnage 17,250.
