A deputation from the Trotting Confcrenefti waited on the Minister for Internal jMtaire and asked him to give back to the Jbrotting clubs the five tote permits now held by the racing clubs. The number originally allotted to the former was 33, 'but only 28 were taken up, and the remainder were afterwards given " to the racing clubs on condition, it is alleged,that they 'should be available for trots if ever required. The Minister promised to consider the matter.
