(Per United Presß Association). DUNEDIN, April 24. Speaking at Roxburgh last night in connection with the stoppage of the Law-rence-Roxburgh railway, Mr Allen, M.P., stated that Mr Roberts, owner of the Teviot; estate, had decided to sub-divide it into 600-acre farms, reserving 1000 acres for his homestead.

The meeting decided to collect statistics to prove to the Cabinet that the railway would pay if conducted in a businesslike manner.
